Consume 3 cups per week before bed for improved health benefits
Our hibiscus tea is a very fragrant and tart beverage that when steeped provides deep, rich purple tea that's a source of vitamins and minerals, which can be enjoyed hot or cold. It has a great taste but can be sour, a bit like cranberry juice, so if you like the sweeter things in life, steep it with a small amount of stevia or honey if required.
As a rich source of vitamins hibiscus tea helps support a normal immune system as part of a balanced diet.
To make a delicious hot cup of hibiscus tea, add the cut and sifted hibiscus flowers to a pot of freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 3-6 minutes to reach your desired taste and strength.
Try adding a stick of cinnamon, honey, stevia leaf, mint leaves or even a wedge of lime during steeping to change the flavour dramatically.
Try leaving your freshly brewed hibiscus tea to cool, then refrigerate and drink at a later date poured over ice cubes for an enjoyable, refreshing iced tea with all the same health benefits.
